was i, yea last year. ok nevermind.

i'm in jc now. and i can't say it's been the best of years, but it certainly isn't the worst either. jc life is certainly different, lectures and tutorial style of learning just doesn't cut it for me, but as far as i'm concerned, do marginally well enough not to get retained and life's good. i can't really connect well with my class but then again it's not like we have common interests either. and it's not like they haven't tried, well that's just how things are i guess. well my promos are finally over and what does that matter. my household's kinda in turmoil now and whatever. frankly i can't be bothered with it all even tho i should. women are the cause of many a man's problems i'd say. that's as far as i'm going. rite then. i'm just here coz i'm bored. bb.

i don't listen to that much heavy metal now, but i'm always on the lookout for great stuff. more rock and electronica and whatever nowadays, as came back. It's nothing special. Nor did I expect my results to matter so much to me. But generally, like everything else except for guitar and metal I don't give a shit about my results. But there were some nice surprises. I got an A+ for RE which is the first time in 4 years. The gamble I took at the start of the year to just fuck it all for a special interest project paid off. I also topped 3 classes for Geography which is great I guess, but I spent the least effort studying for Geography anyway, half the reason being I hated the teacher. But now I've done well for the exam and I'll letting Geography go to hell.

So now the big question would be what subjects to take next year. Or which school to (probably) transfer to. Frankly I am sick of the Raffles Programme and now that they're merging(RI and RJC) I don't really think I'll still be able to handle the future workload that seems to be a level 100 Burden spell(see: Oblivion). Anyways some other nice places I'm considering would be:

CJC
VJC
Various Polytechnics

And wherever else with easy assessments and great friends. High school is high school. I'm just here to get it over with and blow it up to hell. So there.

And the various subjects being offered next year are all kinda like shit. So at the start of the year I was soo looking forward to going to RJC. But nowadays, I'm just thinking to hell with it all. My O level Chinese(I still have to take that shit) will be next wednesday or something and my life is basically in limbo right now. Great.

Comments on where to direct my future awesomeness(aka: suggestions on which school to go to) can kindly be left under this post.

Thank You.

stomp

i don't like stomp. it fuels the nature urge to be a busybody. when something doesn't conform to the ideal society you have in mind, just a random thing out of the ordinary, take a picture and post it online. privacy issues, things like that, who really gives a damn. and there's the rants. never before has ranting been given such exposure. even being published in the national newspaper at that. recently it's about people not clearing up their plates in public places. well. that's life. get on with it. if something like that urks you so much to the point where you HAVE to ABSOLUTELY do something about it...damn. since when has tolerance in our society diminished to non-existence? well i guess it's in the nature of Singaporeans. being an over-achiever, so focused on work, we expect everything to be taken care of. i'm definitely getting out of this country when i can. YEA. some people may view me as a metal head, and yes i listen to metal and i'm proud of it. but i listen to MUSIC. which means songs that focus on their chords, their scales, not about whatever you're actually singing because most people(probably just me) don't really care about lyrical content. there are poetry slams for that. MUSIC means expressing yourself and impressing people and having fun doing it. MUSIC can't change the world, but it certainly changes who i am.

and fruity loops is a great software.

tuition

so i went to tuition, and went to the toilet 3 times. no wait, 4.
the first time it smelt okay, so i took a dump(even I have to go sometimes!)
the second time it smelt like smoke
the third time it smelt like piss
the fourth time it smelt like smoke(again)
the place is heavily air conditioned, god forbid anyone smokes in the toilet.

i also remembered some posts back that i was rant about my parents and repeating the word 'FINE" (i think). i suddenly think it's not very manly so that never happened =).

Lucky

random title. He came to me when we entered and stared at my bro, my bro stared back, i decline to say what happened next but it left my bro sniffling i think. Then after that in the middle of doing a maths question my maths teacher and his father went to another boy and shouted at him again. The reasons are all valid I hope, but somehow he was on a rampage today leaving three teenage boys on the verge of crying..damn. It's a method I'd never employ. type='text'>treading on uncharted environments

know your limits, that always came to my mind when doing parkour, not this time heh.
as usual, we were doing parkour for RE, one sequence involved a turn vault to a drop that was of no consequence to me, or so i thought. I had not practiced the turn vault for a long time, really out of my emotional league. but frankly, if we let instinct take over, as animals with a few thousand years of experience on the good earth we live in, i didn't think it would let me down.

the film started, there was no space for 'what if i fall?', 'what if i fail?' I can't see the future and i'm pretty sure neither can you(but if you can feel free to drop me a message) at this point in time, you go into limbo, that experience was whack.

I turn vaulted, my only memory of that turn vault was an image of the 'ledge' my feet had to be planted on, then i dropped. half a second it felt fine, as if i was doing it all the time, the suddenly i had tread on uncharted environments, my body realised i had never dropped so far down before, instinct took over, and before i knew it, i landed, knees bent, hands on the ground, ninja style. Damn, never felt so euphoric in my life. Instinct is good, and I will never forget everything I feel about Parkour.

Parkour, instinct, it's just an extraordinary experience for ordinary people.

Charity

flag day today, many thoughts on it, but i'll share a few interesting experiences

my tin was a designer one, with flags of course

there was a mum and her son, the mum wanted to give a few coins, but the son(arnd 6-10 i think) took out his wallet and donated, later he took the flag and gave it to his mum, good kid though.

time to reflect, i have nothing to say here, let it be kept somewhere else where the prying eyes of the internet can't reach.

i'm starting to hate some singaporean netizens, some of them just can't resist posting outrageous, indecent and inconsiderate acts on sites like stomp and crucifying them online, jesus man, just chill.

500ml lemon tea, $1. 1.5L lemon tea, $1.45.

I'd take the 1.5L one.

film

i had no filming projects on tuesday, i ended up with 2 on wednesday. He looked damn anxious, looking around, like someone or something was going to pop out and kidnap his children or sth liddat. Chill dude. So why not.

Artist:Die Apokalyptischen Reiter
Album: Riders of the Storm

Seriously, this band is still full of energy since '95. And they have gone increasingly 'patriotic' with more of their songs in their native tongue German. Though I get this feeling that their songs are very nordic and norwegian where there's alot of happy tunes including alot of violins and keyboard sounds.

The tracks that strike me the most are Friede Sei Mit Dir which is extremely energetic, and the song that got me their album in the first place. Though the ending was quite suddenly, nevertheless, it is still a great song.

Der Adler sounds more techno than the rest, and the inspiration background tune of the chorus really makes it quite impressive.

Another striking part of their songs is that throughout the whole album, everything sounds terribly super-charged and energetic, forgive me for repeating that word but truly, there is no space for a breather with Fuchs going all out with the vocals. Even though this album like the others are still full of life, I must say that unlike their last album Samurai which geared towards death metal, 24/7 death growls, Fuchs has 'calmed down' alot, the vocals used is alot cleaner, but that doesn't make it less wild and full of vibe, it's the emotions projected through the voice, not the ferocity of the voice itself.

Overall, the great complicated guitar riffs, heavy bass, occasional but ever rewarding keyboards and the cleaner vocals makes this album stand out from their rest, but then again, besides another few months to enjoy this compliation of classic thrash metal, we can only wait and hope that their next album is as good as this.

Work Ninja-do

Pub Date: 24/07/2006 Pub: ST Page: 4
Supplement: IN
Headline: Ninja see, Ninjado
By: Fern Deng
Page Heading: In The Game
Picture Caption:
In the foreground, Brandon Chew (left) holds up his kama (sickle) to meet Max
Lim's attack with his shinobikatana (ninja sword). It saved me from getting hurt.'
Ninjado is a Japanese martial art which focuses on self-defence and
attacking moves involving mainly handlocks and grapples.
Students are trained to detect footsteps and soft sounds so that they can
react faster to attacks.
They also learn to spar with weapons such as the tanto (rubber dagger),
escrima stick (baton), bokken (Japanese samurai sword) and shuriken
(star-shaped blades).
Carrying these weapons to classes, however, is not easy when riding on
public transport.
Julia Lin, from Republic Polytechnic, gets her fair share of unwanted public
attention and says she has now 'grown used to it'.
The petite 17-year-old spars with a 1.6m-long pole.
She laughs: 'Sometimes, when I'm holding up the stick on the train, aunties
and small children mistake it for a train pole and hold on to it!'
Max Lim, 19, from Temasek Polytechnic, agrees that the public gets alarmed
sometimes by the weapons - despite them being wrapped in cloth.
Said Max: 'I was carrying two Samurai swords once and this burly man was so
startled that he jumped a distance away.'
The 'blade' of the swords that he uses are made of oak wood, but they can
kill if one knows the right moves.
Raphael Tan, 17, from Montfort Secondary School, has learnt the art for a
year and a half. He thinks that Ninjado has 'boosted his confidence'.
'I used to be scared of ah bengs loitering around the HDB void decks. Not
any more,' he beams.

Reflection:Well it certainly is heartwarming sight to see the youth of today gearing up for protection and such, so long as they do not harm others I feel that even if the nation's youth acquires in potentially dangerous fighting skills, the effect is positive. Not only does karate, ninja-do, wushu etc protects oneself, it also helps in contributing to the nation. If we are at war, I am certain everyone will be willing to take up arms to fight and defend our sacred motherland. As of today, the government has made the population safe, so much so that we are afraid of death and injury. The mere sight of a weapon cause public uproar. But then again, personally I value freedom above everything else, and with that freedom, comes the responsibility of safeguarding it. It is of course natural for people to be afraid of weapons, but when one has mastered the weapon, when everyone is fully trained in the art of fighting, who would be scared of a mere piece of steel? Who would be scared of war? It might be another teenage trend, but this one is highly sugested to be encouraged by me as it seems to have great uses, what the government could do is not only encourage it but to glamourise it as well. An additional benefit could be to reduce all those obese and overweight students singapore, to keep fit and be strong. In conclusion, I strongly recommend everyone take up a form of martial art.

err..work

Source: http://enewslink.asia1.com.sg/brsweb/read_150.brsw?this=result&QDT=1&QFLST=HD%3AHG%3APD&DB=ST%3ABT%4005-07&QSTR=%28%28teens%29%29.HD.&DTSTR=%28%28PD+%3E=+20050310%29+and+%28PD+%3C=+20070810%29%29&PSZ=10&MAXL=200&SUMY=2&HLT=0&LSTN=140&ID=000021483@ST06
Pub Date: 15/05/2006 Pub: ST Page: H5
Supplement: Teen Scene Investigation
Headline: Teens mature enough? No way, say parents
By: Jessica Lim
Page Heading: Home

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WATCHING R21 movies is commonplace, even acceptable, said most of the teens
that The Straits Times spoke to.
Out of 15 teenagers, aged between 15 and 19, 11 said it was 'pretty normal'.
'We see violence and sex everywhere on the Internet and on TV,' said Joanna
Cheng, a Secondary 4 Manjusri Secondary School student. 'Teenagers nowadays
treat such movies as part of everyday life. It is no big deal.'
Eight felt that the age restriction for entry into such movies should be
lowered. After all, as Sec 3 Methodist Girls' School student Lisa Lim, 15,
pointed out: 'Movies can be downloaded anywhere, so there is no point putting
an age restriction on movie theatres.'
Tricia Lim, 19, summed up the general sentiment: 'I think I am pretty mature
for my age and I can handle the sex and violence shown in these movies. I don't
mimic what I see.'
Parents, naturally, are more conservative.
Said 51-year-old businesswoman Jessie Liau: 'I do not think that the R21
restriction should be tampered with. It protects these kids from controversial
issues that they might not be ready to be exposed to. They might find it
disturbing.'
She has three daughters - aged 23, 19 and 15.
Some students agree with Mrs Liau.
Aaron Mossadeg, 13, a Sec 2 student at St Gabriel's Secondary School, who
watched Sin City when his friend's father purchased the VCD during the December
school holidays last year, said: 'The violent scenes were disturbing. I kept my
eyes squeezed shut at a few points.' - JESSICA LIM

My Commentary
This is certainly very common, and as a fellow teenager, i do not encourage or strongly voice out any opposition against such behavior. As teens, we are keen on exploring the world and such and wondering whether all that we have learnt in our tender single digit years have served to liberate us or to trap us in a cage we don't even realise we're in. Such 'liberation' techniques would of course apply to viewing media of all sorts, especially movies with strong violence, nudity and the like. Of course a little bit of this and that might not be harmful, but in the long run, parents would most definity object. They want their children to be conservative, to lead lives of no shame, to become holy angels, nuns and monks all the damn time. Guess what folks? Life ain't that pretty. Life is cruel. If you hide your kids from what the world really is, when they are thrown into such a place without any instinct of survival, these children, these people, these brainwashed ideological fools will be eradicated immediately. Better let your children know of the dangers in society and prepare for it. Better let them have access to such media, but with the weaponary of combating its influences. Such people are the ones to survive and inherit this earth. Most teens think they are 'mature' enough to handle this. But actually, they are being more influenced by such media than they think they are, they are desensitised. A greater likelihood of being criminals and psychopaths in the future perhaps. All because of their hormones, and the desperate shielding of such anti-behavioral concepts by their parents. These parents are much to blame as well. If they stopped thinking that their children were still angels at 15, they could finally cut their fantasies and work on facing their kids with reality. Otherwise our world would be full of overconfident children and parents in self-denial.

P.S. I like black metal.
<img width='1' height='1' Nowadays, it is not uncommon to see these
bands rock out at school events such as Chinese New Year celebrations.
If they are good enough, they get more exposure through band competitions, such
as The Straits Times School Of Rock competition, and varsity events.
Wisteria, which comprises Secondary 4 students from Bukit Batok Secondary
School, has successfully played a gig at the Singapore Management University.
“We did it for an experience we wouldn’t have ordinarily got from our school,”
said lead guitarist Lee Jing, 15.
Such exposure has allowed them to gain confidence in facing large crowds.
Many of them use these experiences as a springboard into the music industry.
A check with jamming studio Nuradee Bros. found that seven student bands have
recorded demos with them.
Said a studio spokesman: “They’re not too bad, and some are really outstanding.
As teenagers, they have big potential.”
But teachers have their concerns about these student rockers.
“I know they’re really passionate, and it’s goodto see students directing their
energy to music. But they should apportion some time to studies as well,” said
Mrs Ruth Tan, an English Teacher from Bukit Batok Secondary.
But the student musicians say such worries are unfounded. They say that adults
do not know that bands have made many sacrifices like cutting down time spent
watching TV and playing computer, in order to juggle their studies and band
commitments.
The student bands practise once a week at jamming studios for up to three hours
on average to polish their skills. They pay anything from $14 to $18 an hour.
“We’re students, and not loaded. But my parents support me and my group, so
they sponsor a bit of our fees,” said Sec 5 student Muhammad Firdaus Saladi,
17, rhythm guitarist of Darkrossa.
He added: “The band knows that we do not have the luxury of money nor time, so
when we practise, it’s super-serious.”

REFLECTION:
Most of us teenagers are impressionable and while chasing after trends, yes, this is one way we express ourselves. Even a music junkie like myself hopes to be a big star to rival and even surpass my idols in death and black metal. However such a career while being glamourous and stuff, it is also extremely stressful, to have pepperazzi's chasing you 24/7 for all sorts of hot news. If you do anything, preferably embarrassing, I doubt most can live with such humiliation. Such a game can only be played by veterans and professionals. Us teens also lament about how people don't understand us, well, for most part, I feel that it is not that people don't understand, but we refuse to let them in on ourselves. If this is one way of expressing what is really inside, you parents better jump at the chance to understand what's inside! But because music is our passion, not just as a consumer but to be one of those contributing to our entertainment, we of course would put in extra effort to practice hard and seriously go along with this. Not just because of our idols, but for ourselves, our inner peace, peace that we have finally found something which we really like, something we can live for. And that is what defines the happy-go-lucky teenagers in this industry.
However, there are always people trying to put you down, no matter what you do. In this case it best defines the teachers and school and mostloy parents. Society expects us to just stay at home and study for the 'good of our nation', well hello. I'm tired of being what you want me to be. If everyone contributes to the society in his or her own way, then the true sprit of giving is there. While most teachers are concerned with studies and the like, I feel that such a thing that defines our future has been already paid enough attention to, even as teens, we all secretly know in our hearts that studies are important. And so with the passion of music in our hearts as well, we would put aside time and manage it well so that we can balance both our work and our hobbies. Even as such, is it guranteed that we would enjoy as much fame and glamour as Avril Lavigne or Dimmu Borgir? Nowadays, it is not uncommon to see these
bands rock out at school events such as Chinese New Year celebrations.

There are just that many bands that are unheard of, who are trying to earn their keep, who continue making music even though they know they're dying in this industry. And that is the true sprit of the passion in life.
In conclusion, I support the teen's choice of forming bands, making music, so long as it does not affect one's present committments.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://wonderb0y.blogspot.com/2007/04/term-2-online-reading-portfolioagain.html' title='Term 2 Online Reading Portfolio(AGAIN) a.k.a. A
public education drive aims to change this.
MUHAMMAD Mahriazul gets his weekly music fix by downloading at least a song a
week from his classmates’ computers.
And he helps his friends out, too, by letting them download songs from his
computer just as frequently. He and his classmates use a technology called
“peer-to-peer” (P2P) file-sharing.
It is based on the cooperative sharing of thousands of individual users. It
works by having participants voluntarily install special file-sharing software
on their machines.
Once that software is in place, these users start to trade music MP3 and AVI
files of their favourite songs and movies with others using the same software.
Some of these programs are Morpheus, Kazaa, LimeWire and iMesh.
There is no charge, no cost.
When The Sunday Times asked Muhammad to define “piracy”, the 16-year-old
thought it referred to pirates at sea.
He pointed out that he often saw the word pop up when he was downloading
software but did not know what it meant.
Thus it was not surprising that the Sec 4 student also did not realise it was
illegal.
The Greenview Secondary School student said: “But it is our music from our own
computers. What is wrong with that?”
Quite a number of the activities of these boys and many other teens like them
are illegal – as revealed in a Motion Pictures Association brochure launched in
a public education drive last week.
The brochure points out that peer-to-peer file-sharing devices, through which
most of illegal file-sharing occurs, also exposes computers to harmful viruses,
worms, Trojan horses and annoying pop-ups.
It also brought attention to the risk of sharing personal data, which can lead
to identity theft.
Not forgetting that it is against the law.
Three men, aged 16 to 22 were arrested in their homes in 2005 for sharing more
than 20,000 pirated digital music files over a local Internet relay chat (IRC)
channel.
And in October last year, content owners swooped in on Internet users trading
songs and movies illegally online. They reported 25 offenders here to the
police, part of a worldwide haul that netted 8,000 file-swappers.
Offenders face jail terms of up to five years and fines of up to $100,000. And
although one or two songs may not be on a large enough scale to warrant a
criminal offence, it can attract civil liabilities when infringement is
established.
Still, some who know they are stepping on the other side of the law could not
care less.
A polytechnic student who wants to be known only as Xue Wen stopped downloading
songs for a year because it gave her computer a virus. The student, who started
downloading songs when she was 15, has downloaded about 500 songs in all.
She said: “I would definitely continue downloading songs if not for the virus.
It’s free as well. Now I have to get my friends to send songs to me.”
The 18-year-old “rarely” buys CDs and is not swayed by “those anti-piracy ads”.

Another student, who is known to her friends as Quan, 18, downloads songs
because she thinks it is ridiculous to “buy the entire album for just one
song”. She has downloaded about 50 songs so far and stopped for a month because
she feared getting caught, but started downloading again when “the hype died
down”.
Others simply do it because they do not know the risks. Said Sitee Quraishah,
15, a Sec 4 student at Ang Mo Kio Secondary School: “I used to think that
downloading music was legal and that piracy meant burning DVDs and CDs for
sale. It was only after my teacher taught us what piracy was that I knew.”
Another teenager, who wants to be known as VV, lets others download songs from
her computer because she “can help people save money”.
Intellectual Property Organisation of Singapore (IPOS) director Liew Woon Yin
said in a speech at the launch of the brochure: “Copyrighted material is the
result of someone’s creativity and hard work.
“When distributed on file-sharing systems, the original creators do not receive
due rewards because they are being distributed freely. The creators may
therefore feel less motivated to continue their creativity blitz.”
But such illegal online activity is difficult to curb, say experts here. Said
Mr Michael Ellis, the senior vice-president of the Motion Picture Association
(MPA): “People downloading from their own homes make it difficult to clamp down
on the problem.
“We can’t compete with free. Nobody can. We have to educate and help people
understand the consequences of their actions.”
Parents agree with this.
Said Mr Bernard Wan, who has two daughters aged eight and 14 : “I can’t monitor
my children around the clock, but as a parent I have to remind them about the
seriousness of piracy and how you might get arrested. Then they have the tools
they need to make their own decision.” Both his children are on the computer at
least two hours a day.
Education and information might well be the key.
Students like Mahriazul say the sharing and downloading will cease now that
they know the legal implications.
For others, it is about understanding.
Said Lestor Chua, 13, a Sec 2 student at Maris Stella High School who was
present at the talk: “I didn’t understand how piracy hurts an artist at first,
but now I do. It’s difficult to stop ripping off songs through the Internet
unless you can relate to the person suffering on the other side.”
limjess@sph.com.sg
Additional reporting by Emily Lek

SOURCE: http://enewslink.asia1.com.sg/brsweb/read_44.brsw?this=result&QDT=1&QFLST=HD%3AHG%3APD&DB=BT%3AST%4005-07&QSTR=teen&DTSTR=%28%28PD+%3E=+20051126%29+and+%28PD+%3C=+20070428%29%29&PSZ=10&MAXL=200&SUMY=1&HLT=0&LSTN=40&ID=000016244@ST07

REFLECTIONS:
It's online piracy again. The subject that has been on many tongues for the past decade. But only now has it become some really serious topic. Wow. Really interesting. But what's more interesting is that the IT-savvy generation has found even more ways of downloading illegal music and movies and games and other software. Basically, for the side of the consumers, who really has that much $$ to buy all this digital media anyway? Maybe Bill Gates or even Warren Buffet. But to the oppressed underprevelieged general consumer population such as myself, the rich people made their day of the general population, who is still trying to get by day by day. If you guys won't let us continue letting us enjoying the simple pleasures of life, well, thank you very much. Most of us actually, well, maybe know what piracy is, but who would admit they had moral knowledge but no moral courage? Even if the artists 'stop' their 'creativity blitz', more will join the ranks of the knowingly scammed, there's just that many people in the world. If you quit today, someone will replace you the next. If the long arm of law tries to actually start to take action to track down and arrest everyone, even if they download one song illegally. Good luck to everyone, half of singapore will be in prison, 99.9% of our generation will be behind bars, and then, who will lead singapore to it's 'bright' future? Really, if the law starts to mobilise it's police forces, good luck to it's waste of energy catching and arresting every citizen for the merest offense, taking them to trial which will take months, and then obtaining the funds to feed the prisoners, to clothe them, to accomadate them etc. Now that may be abit exaggerating, but it is painfully true, it is just too troublesome to catch everyone.
However, to empathize with those artists who painfully try to make a living, not to mention they already have better conditions than we do, but then, if you find out you are not making as much $$ as you should have because some lame person out there is copying your creative product, distributing for free or even making YOUR MONEY, now if i were Josh Groban I'd be pretty pissed off too.
But the real threat is the viruses that may infect your computer. Where there's something free, there's always a catch. Just like the insurance companies who have 'terms and conditions apply', all these free things are bound to come with a virus. Some just attach themselves to the file, others just disguise themselves as the file with nothing useful inside. Lame. So my conclusion to those who consider themselves 'virtous' and 'upright', no matter what, don't download illegal music and software. And to those that prefer their own survival and entertainment, don't download illegal music unless you want to spend another thousand on a new computer.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://wonderb0y.blogspot.com/2007/04/term-2-07-blogging-online-portfolio-aka.html' title='Term 2 '07 Blogging Online Portfolio a.k.a. I don't know how long i can hold out. Yea, my internal fortress is crumbling, and I still haven't done the 2 newspaper articles yet. Oh well, screw it.

My parents think buying me stuff can make me do what they want me to do. Guess what, they thought wrong lol, it takes more than that -.-
Whatever lah, that emotional acceptance you get from your batchmates, batch 56, is more than what your parents can give you. Your friends, those you've been through good and bad times with. Those are the ones that matter. My parents are just wanting me to grow up way too fast..

Did a chinese article today about ppl making children grow up too fast. It's comepletey F***ING TRUE!!!! Just see the stupid Raffles Programme...can't even cater for those students like yours truly who are weak in their academics and build some bullcrap like RA...why...to cater for those students of higher academic ability of course. And what about those students who come in by special talent? What about those who are struggling? You work us soo hard, you embarrass us, brainwash us into thinking that we deserve better, thus we should work harder in our passion. Even if it's unintentional, it's unknowingly done, it's DONE. Congrats, you happy now? Raffles is now a world premier school, thanks to the students that were made into Japanese-WWII-like soldiers. YAY. I LOVE RED CROSS!! THEY'RE OVERWORKING ME AND I LOVE IT!! Honestly lah, it really is time to wake up. Sec 3 liao, somehow, I know I'll always miss the days of sec 2 in RIRC. I've practically wasted the first two years of RIRC doing nothing. If I don't buck up now and take some form of leadership and MAKE A STAND, the lord will not be with me.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_AZTau3e1bWw/Rff1vHJDg1I/AAAAAAAAABM/FfdSFIyfTYU/s320/DSC00459.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5041768497584243538" />
At least I managed to pack everything for camp in that bag -.-"

Anyways, firedrill. Somehow, either god or hanif chose me as base ic. Someone who has rarely taken initiative or leadership roles in life is thrown into one. Congrats to me. Stressful it is. I'll never underestimate base ics again.
The firedrill as qibong put it "Worst I've ever seen in my 4 yrs of RIRC life."
And I'm in charge of it.

Wow.

Omega. I've officially left you, but that doesn't mean I'm not coming back. Firstly discipline, even dragging after repeated reminders...aiyah. Sian lah, tell you all not to do and then you still continue. Nice.
Our points, from -77(-30 and every point gained, - 20% thanks to Abishek) to 171. Not bad at all. Omega's soooo gonna kill him after camp. Next training, he goin' die.

Bedtime on first day, 12.45am. Woke up 2am. Got screwed, 2-5pm. Nice. Oni sec3s, taking punishment for sec2s and 1s. Wow. I'm not complaining, it's just something wrong with the camping. Nvm. There's no 'I' in team(but there's a 'ME').

2nd day, pt, alot of ppl cannot endure, my left leg kena in 3 different places. My right leg just gave way. X-ray tmr for my back...possible socilosis...whatever that means. My body's giving up on me. Dammit.

Morning, following Hadi around relying on Sec1s for funny instructions. Both my legs gave way. Couldn't tahan, had oni 1 hrs of sleep today..can't stand it. Then when I woke up at the junior block, the sec3s were gone..WTH. I searched arnd then dunno where, all the sec1s and 2s off to canteen for lunch. Then I saw the sec3s at the field coming back..got screwed -.-" when I wasn't there. Wow. Dammit lah. This camp was really mentally exhausting, like all others. Time to wake up.

Promo ceremony, Eng Han got promoted O.O

Final War, nothing much.

Results. Omega, 2nd with 171 points. So stay away from this one unless you're the teacher. In that case the red carpet welcomes you. I kept wondering if this could have been
prevented and how I could help.”
The project has four core members and 20 active volunteers.
Miss Kwee, a business consultant, first approached voluntary welfare
organisation Beyond Social Services for support.
“I noticed there was a rising trend in girl gangs and teenage pregnancies, and
not many programmes focused on girls.
“The idea is to reach out to them, not as social workers, but as people who can
be their role models,” she said.
The number of girls aged between seven and 19 arrested for crimes has been on
the rise. In 2005, 1,373 girls were arrested compared to 1,321 in 2004 and
1,310 in 2003. Girls represented between 25 and 30 per cent of all youths
arrested.
In June, 20 girls attended a two-day camp and learnt about legal rights,
budgeting and boy-girl relationships.
The second camp, held at Raffles Girls’ Secondary last month, was attended by
43 girls from Beyond Social Services, Andrew & Grace Home, and Pertapis, a
Muslim welfare and education organisation.
This time, they heard from a gynaecologist about menstrual wellness and learnt
self-defence techniques from a taekwondo instructor. The camp programmes are
devised by volunteers, who share the cost of about $2,000 for each camp, and
draw on their business and social networks to attract speakers.
Said Mrs Tan: “What struck me about these girls is that when you ask them what
they aspire to be, they look a little lost, a little stunned, and say they have
no dreams.
“I realised it’s because they don’t have role models in their lives.”
This is why the project group is called Beautiful People – to help these
teenage girls realise the potential in themselves despite all they have
endured.
Said one of the girls, Gina (not her real name), 13: “I thought this camp would
be boring, but it’s fun and I feel the adults are really listening to me.”
Gina was arrested last year for glue sniffing and sent to a home for 18 months.

“My parents did not bail me out and I hated them,” she said. “I also hated the
people who put me in the home.
“Now, after talking with Mrs Tan, I realise why this has to happen. I think I
want to be a lawyer when I grow up so I can help people who are like me.”
Beyond Social Services deputy executive director T. Ranganayaki is full of
praise for the group’s efforts.
“This is a very rare and noble effort,” she said.
“Of the many volunteers who come and support our programmes, this group has its
mind and heart in the right place, and consistently so.”
Beautiful People hopes to find part-time jobs for some of the girls, and
provide them with the social skills they need to hold down a job.
Miss Dawn Kong, 35, a volunteer, said: “It’s about giving them a chance by
using our personal resources to provide them with the opportunities they were
not able to get because they are disadvantaged.”
To reach out to more of them, the volunteers have also attached themselves to
youth centres in Ang Mo Kio, Ghim Moh, Tiong Bahru and East Coast.
Those who can commit their time to this project can get more details at
www.beautifulpeople.org.sg
tanya@sph.com.sg

My response:
Well, that's a start. Maybe society is trying to understand the next generation at last. As a teenager myself, I do find it tempting to ride on the wrong side of the long road of life. Drugs, sex, gangs and all that are out there. Even if we are 'afraid' of all that,it is certainly more exciting than the average teenage life now. Most adults expect us to live a routine kind of life. Wake up, go to school, come back from school, do homework, help out chores, sleep. Man, if everyone did that what's the point of carrying on in this world. Being alive is one thing, keeping your life interesting is another. While teenage girls are being lost on the road of life, society is finally extending a helping hand as role models. I have many female friends in other schools who also don't know what to do in their lives, they merely 'waste' it away with bad habits like drinking, wasting time etc. So I can understand the misunderstood generation of society pretty well. As such, society should give more attention to their internal affairs and social situation of teenagers, we are the next generation of this country, thus we deserve more attention to our situation. If society just leaves us alone, we make destroy ourselves eventually.
But as I said in my first sentence, that's a start. There should be more programmes catered to the extremes of society, the young and old. Besides teenage girls, I do hope there are more programmes that extend to males as well. Our gender constitutes to the majority of crimes committed, teenage or adult, we should still receive more attention from society. Using peer pressure and family influence, teenage boys on the 'wrong' side of life can also repent and turn over a new leaf.
With all the help society gives us, it is only natural that the next generation should improve themselves in order to effectively take up the tasks of the nation in the near future.

Happy New Year Eve of Eve.

It's the eve of chinese new year's eve. Sigh, it's that time of the year again.

Total Defence. RI celebrates total defence but not valentine's day. Wow. Shows that we're a bunch of war-lovin' fools. Maybe.

Still remember sec1, when the solemn occasion of laying the laurel wreath and stuff like that. We were still jubilant with mass synchronised clapping, cheering at the 1 minute of silence and stuff like that. Wow, looking back at that. It's been a year since I've seen a total defence celebration. Thought they would mass fire some AKs or M4s or something like that. Sad. Teenagers still not allowed to carry guns YET.
Wait till NS.

No more homework till end of chinese new year!! not amusing at all. still got tons of stuff to do.

Some people gave a talk about pandas today. The female presenter was really like japanese kawaii anime girl leh..then some people ended up not listening to the presentation, looked at the girl instead when they should be getting panda soft toys. wow. china accent very strong, like Ding Feng's. But they gave out alot of panda soft toys..I got one.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtLzvOsQ80k
Panda Sneezing, really funny.

Know how panda's reproduce? Coz their reproduction rate is low, really not interested in sex, unlike some people I know -.-, they make panda's watch porn. wow.

They reach maturity at 4, and can already do it. While I'm 14 and I'm STILL underage. Wow.

Anyway their presentation was really entertaining. PANDA!!

I've decided to name mine, PANDAMIC!! The M.I.C. stands for Made In China!!

After school had talentime, no one was really serious about the singing, then the mood really killed everyone. Then went to see FACOM.. Stephen damn farny. Nvm about that. Really tiring, tomorrow, we're released at 10am. Wow. I'm undertaking the great journey of walking home again. Wow. From Bishan to Hougang. Wow.

Journey on Pandamic!

Stereotypes And Valentine's

This world runs on conflict. We're on it's car, and conflict is the gasoline. With the ability to goo KA-BOOM. How true. Somehow, this blog is radiating positive aura to me, to think deeply about stuff. Sure, created for work. But somehow, it has also turned into my 'emo' blog. Positive Aura? Maybe. But then, it's my day's thoughts and insights..not just merely rantings man.

We had red cross training today. Supposed to bring 2 round things(-.- don't be sick) or 2 heart shaped things. I brought 2 malaysian twenty cent coins lol. Almost all of my batch brought except for some scholars..like Sai..-.- Then Qiwen told all of us.."I have two words to say to you all. Good job."..wow. And my inner self told me.."The two words are going to be F$^# YOU. Wow. So that's reflecting my inner self. I'm a total @$$h0|3 now. Great. Nah, I'm going to change that.

We did silly things, like shout out loud "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!" in the Raffles Square etc. Everyone had to do a 'sexy' pose and a valentine's day message. Nicest was Chong Yu lol..."Don't you think I'm sexy??" lol, the japanese sexy pose had everyone dead. Anyways, sec1s came again, and we all got serious about stuff. Station games. Somehow, today's training was fun. Then after trng, when we gave our stuff to the sec2s, and the sec2s to the sec1s, besurai..Wen Yu screwed up, had to do 10 push-ups..multiple man. Man man, if I knew, I'd have done with him. Then we were discussing about the Evac thingy, I can tell that Zijie's serious with this thing. So I'm going to go along with it too. Then Qiwen wanted to meet all of us at sickbay.. then wanted us to choose a number. We chose '1' when there should be '56'. Then we got 1 pack of chocs..lol. Sec4s see us give stuff also want to give us things too. They aren't that bad as I thought lol. End up, I actually think this giving of stuff, even if it was the stones from the Raja Block LOL, symbolises something. We won't be here forever, passing whatever we have to the next batch. Emo me again.

Anyway, went for a hair cut after rc, wanted detail cut from San Andreas. But the barber refused to cut my hair that way. She said, if I was neighbourhood school still can consider. But RAFFLES leh..-.- anyway, settled for a crew cut. For those who want to see my new hairstyle can msn me or check it out at sch tmr. Then I saw Eugene..had a girl behind him, wow. valentine's. Well, no time to go out with anyone today, most of the girls I know all got committments one, like new bfs, new gfs, etc. -.-

anyway, this goes on to the topic of discussion today - stereotypes.

Then I thought of the girl following Eugene. Average s'pore girl.

This is the vital stats of them...in my opinion.
Wear Specs
Shoulder Length hair
School shoes, something branded.
Wallet, pencil case etc. Branded.
Average should be a B(you know what I"m talking about)
speaks ah lian
etc?

Average S'pore boy.
Wears specs,
hair geled or spiked
wallet and pencil case and shoes also branded
aiyah I dunno lah.

When the best rapper's a white, and the best golfer's a black, and the best musician is chinese. The world is free from all forms of stereotypes.

Total Defence day tmr. Then CNY celebrations after that. This is one holiday I'm not going to enjoy.

Valentine's Day? Just two cents about 'love'.

Yea, love exists. But it's near impossible to obtain.
The one true love I've ever seen is between adults and children all over the world.
No it's not pedophiles drooling over some third world country kids stripping for a few bucks, it's the special family relationship that everyone shares with their parents.
I have to admit that half of the kids living on this god-forsaken world have totally extreme childhoods that is serious enough that God would come down here Himself and cause another world flood(see noah's ark dumbass). and the only people building boats would be the cruel captalists again as only they have the money for expensive cruisers and food to outlast the rest of the desperate populace.

Once again. This problem is not solved yet. -.-
Anyway, romantic love. That was what I onced believe in. ONCE.
Now, it's just a need in all of us. I admit I'm no superhero, or professional like Dante in Devil May Cry, everyone has needs... And the need to feel 'loved' romantically is one of them too. The worse part is that people these days have no idea what 'love' is. Maybe I don't either. But this is my opinion on this subject, and every valentine's day, it's always the same. My 'romance' relationships with girls don't last that long for a valentine's day either. I shall probably have to ask *bleep* to go out with me. But tomorrow I return to my crib at 6pm. School..commitments..my life is one long burden that I enjoy. Wow.

If you were 'in love', that I tell you, is crap. For most of us that is. I've looked up in the oxford dictionary and there were like 8 or more different definitions for love. But because of the lack of resources at the current time I was typing this, I shall take the definitions from Merriam-Webster instead.

Love:
1 a (1): strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties <maternal>love for a child> (2): attraction based on sexual desire : affection and tenderness felt by lovers (3): affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests <love for his old schoolmates> b: an assurance of love <give>love>2: warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion <love of the sea>3 a: the object of attachment, devotion, or admiration <baseball>love> b (1): a beloved person : darling — often used as a term of endearment (2)British — used as an informal term of address4 a: unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another: as (1): the fatherly concern of God for humankind (2): brotherly concern for others b: a person's adoration of God

Out of all these meanings, I find that only '1 a (1)' and the 'warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion' is practical for use in daily life. An 'attraction based on sexual desire' is simply not true as that is not love. It is sexual desire!
Sexual desire in this case is I LOVE your body...and maybe you. If God stripped all of us of everything we had on earth, even our bodies, and we are all floating wisps in the fires of hell. Would you still love him or her? If we retained our memories when we reincarnate, and you find that your husband in your previous life was now a female, just like you in this life. Would you turn lesbian because you 'love' him? If the answer is no. Then my point is proven. Would society's pressure on homophobia make you change your love for someone?

Even if that person is crippled, disfigured, whatever. Nothing can beat family love.
No matter how much you fail in life, your family is still supporting you. Some children have abusive parents, violent one that do all sorts of bad things. But no matter what happens, somehow, they still love their parents. They still stick by them, not because they are the breadwinners, not because they are their bodyguards. But solely because they love them. They are their parents. And in this world, I've only got 1 mum and 1 dad, and so everyone reading this post better cherish them!!

Honestly, the teenage years are usually the toughest time of your life. Your body starts changing
, like one's mentality. When I come home to listen to my mum's nagging. I know she's nagging, she's repeating what she said for the twenty millionth time. But that's because she cares, and I can feel her love.

"To the child, mother is god." - Silent Hill

How true.

Some people say love is selfish, love is blind(family cases)..but another definition for love is that you love the person so much, you would do anything to make them happy. That's also true. But how about love is selfish? Towards which point is when love isn't love anymore? Another mystery in this world. But that's what we're here for. Life is still full of conflicts here and there, people partying and dying in that very same corner..

The other kind of love I think true is the love for a certain subject. Some people love something so much it becomes an obsession. That's the point when it's not love anymore. But I digress.

It's true. So I like rapping. I like hip hop. But do I 'love' it? I find myself unable to define that. Do I love it. It has become my passion, but so has bodybuilding, language, fashion and a multitude of other things. Everyone has a passion in life, a dream. And we all love our dreams. We all want them to come true. And for that dream, I am willing to forsake all I have. That's love. But I am not willing to forsake all I love. That's love too. Love in this case is selfish, and contradictory. Love is supporting both sides here...wow.

And so. Following the communist dream. And even in Christianity, one of my Christian friends told me about church, the marriage seminar he attended, having children is one of the main aims of marriage. To ensure the survive of the species..wow. I do not exactly believe in romantic love, as the couples I've seen have really strange ways of proving it. But some cases are strong enough to turn this point a 180degrees round and point the gun straight at my forehead. Rather, humans survive on the instinct of society and cooperation. Communism indeed.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://wonderb0y.blogspot.com/2007/02/valentines-day-just-two-cents-about.html' title='Valentine's Day? Lol.
Kwoky finally convinced me to go for silver accreds with hq last nite. So I went. Borrowing JQ's uniform. Anyway, when we got there everyone had alrdy fallen in, omg. Me and Romeo were busy rushing to change, the toilet's super stinky, super wet, super dirty, super %#$^-ed up. But it was super high-tech. Like when you step in the lights auto-on..o.0 really really cool- for a lousy toilet in TKSS anyway.

Teh school rocks. But then again, lousy toilet. We put our stuff in like the furthest classroom in the school, then received our notes for fd silver. We were grouped into 3 groups, group one had Hadi lol, group two had Joel WTF, then my name wasn't there. -.- Whatever lah, the VI also took my name down as 'JieQi', lol borrow uniform de. The discipline was surprisingly highly slack. When we did footdrill in the morning sun. The fiery god in that burning ball in that sky was staring straight at me with a middle-finger in my face -.- Argh, hard to pay attention to the lesson. Then we split into the 3 groups and started practising. The good thing is I kena-ed Hadi SIR the VI, a fat VI that looks like Lazydork, a woman who was really damn man, and another VI.

Then after practising bronze commands..which included saluting for 10 mins...screw you Hadi. We further split into 2 groups, I luckily was under Hadi again... the other group, really feel sorry for them. Under that female VI in uniform who was seriously damn man, her voice was like...really low. omg. Then it was drill drill drill whatever.
Lunchtime!! YAY. Walked like 2.4km in boots that were too big to the food court. Like 8.5% of the stalls were open(8 stalls and 1 that wasn't serving) ate hokkien mee there, the guy was really nice, $3 hokkien mee I kena-ed 5 prawns and alot of mee..really hungry then. Then me and joel just ate.

Afternoon that time was more drills. Then we were learning belok(wheel), and inside our little group, we were split into 2 again. So it's like..

1 unit-> total no. of people taking rc silver accreds.
1/3 unit-> 1 group.
1/6 unit-> group under Hadi and Lazydork VI
1/12 unit-> group just under Hadi
then it boils down to me..which is like, 1/72 unit.

wow. Somehow, by luck, the group which was just under hadi that included me had 5 girls and 1 guy(me). Wow. All the other males were in the other seperate squad with Lazydork..wow. Really. WOW. -.- God's Will I guess. The standard of discipline is damn nice. We fidget and for once, Hadi the very cruel sec4 didn't even bother. Standard of neighbourhood schools? If that's the level of discipline I face in RIRC, I'd go for training every damn time man! Then we still couldn't do belok properly, so creative VI used our bottles to demo..really cool.

"Remember the bottles."
Yea, I'll remember.

Then when we combined squad, all 70+ ppl in 1 squad. Everything in footdrill just turns cool. Marching all over the parade square, ke-kenan lurus, maju, hentak, belok, hormat, memenri, whatever, when you do it with alot of ppl, fd just becomes cool. The experience was worth the sunburn. Including the mass besurai, I remember 2 girls around me screwed up, never salute just march one.

Then with theory, I really dunno how they teach, and abt the uniform..all girls were pants under their rc uniform skirts, but some are really long, and when they just squat, it's incredibly obscene. Like at a break, the girls in my 1/12 squad were all squating in a line towards the canteen..really obscene, not only towards me but towards everybody in the canteen too..yuck.

The 7pm drama that we all watch, abt teens..the govt addresses all teenage issues in 1 drama, efficient. I saw the girl who was tomboyish and got her nude pics on the net from the drama in TKSS...she's actually in TKSS and in band..wow.

But the thing that really caught my eye was the classroom tables. Usually I'd see tables badly vandalised in someway or other..trust me, I know. But all the tables had a huge piece of coloured paper on them. And all the students just drew what they wanted, and had to put their goals there, like academically, family, physically etc..really. As a result, students can express artistic talent in a form of 'vandalism' in a 'non-hazardous' way. I've even seen 'Grove Street Rock On' lol, and in RI? White classrooms, Green structure..Black as night...boring. The curriculum is boring and hard to grasp. The discipline killed and still does. Some of the best teaching methods actually come from neighbourhood schools... I've started to wonder every since I've come to RI whether I've made the right choice...and the answer? No. But I've never regreted joining RIRC. Nope.

Anyway, theory was done...and at 5.30 we were released..vacate the school in 15mins..cool. 15 mins to change in that toilet again..saw romeo..but honestly, footdrill was fun. The school was cool. But I'm tired, and actually typing so many words about today amazes me. Wow.

Good Night. I hopefully can get some solace in the state of San Andreas.

Families of American teens sue MySpace

Hey yo all was just checking out the sph newslink resources that ri provides..really useful for doing this article man, alot of articles to check out. Anyways long story short, this post is work.

Families of American teens sue MySpace

Source: http://enewslink.asia1.com.sg/brsweb/read_5.brsw?this=result&QDT=1&QFLST=HD%3AHG%3APD&DB=ST%3ABT%3ANP%4005-07&QSTR=%28%28teen%29%29.HD.&DTSTR=%28%28PD+%3E=+20050209%29+and+%28PD+%3C=+20070209%29%29&PSZ=30&MAXL=400&SUMY=2&HLT=0&LSTN=0&ID=000001205@NP07

Website a hunting ground for paedophiles, say parents SEVERAL teenage girls were allegedly sexually abused after being chatted up on social networking website MySpace, but the company claims a child's safety is partly a family's responsibility. The site popular with teenagers, allowing them to share their lives and secrets in online diaries and personal Web pages, has been criticised for providing paedophiles with a rich hunting ground, reported AFP. But it defended itself on Thursday against new lawsuits charging it had failed to protect the five girls from being lured into sex traps by predators. The suits demanded unspecified millions of dollars in damages from MySpace and its parent company News Corporation for 'negligence, recklessness, fraud' and misrepresentation. 'MySpace serves as an industry leader on Internet safety and we take proactive measures to protect our members,' the company's chief security officer, Mr Hemanshu Nigam, said. 'Ultimately, Internet safety is a shared responsibility. We encourage everyone to apply commonsense offline safety lessons in their online experiences and engage in open family dialogue about smart Web practises,' added Mr Nigam. The suits were filed separately on Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court on behalf of the families of the girls, aged between 14 and 15 and from the US states of New York, Texas, Pennsylvania and South Carolina. PLIED WITH DRUGS The girls were lured into meetings with men who had chatted them up on MySpace then plied them with drugs or alcohol and sexually abused them, according to court papers. One of the men accused in the assaults is serving a 10-year prison sentence and the others are awaiting trials, according to lawyers for the girls. 'Blaming the families of abuse victims who were solicited online, as some have done, is a cynical excuse that ignores the fact that social networking sites can lead to heinous abuse by Internet predators,' said Mr Adam Loewy, a lawyer for some of the girls. 'In our view, MySpace waited entirely too long to attempt to institute meaningful security measures that effectively increase the safety of their underage users,' said another of the plaintiffs' lawyers, Mr Jason Itkin. Last June, a mother who said her 14-year-old daughter was sexually assaulted by a 19-year-old user sued MySpace and News Corporation, seeking US$30 million ($46 million) in damages, reported Associated Press. That lawsuit claims the 19-year-old lied about being a senior in high school to gain the girl's trust.

My response:
Nearly every first world teenager is able to connect to the net for whatever reason, be it checking their email, chatting, playing online games, information, good or bad, let's face it: Without the net, we cannot survive. Not just us teens, but adults, even toddlers as well. My younger sister uses the net to source for information on Barney, and without this, I don't know what I can do to keep her preoccupied. However, like all other things, there is both a good and bad side. The internet, the ugly side.
The site MySpace.com, without it, I would not have a page there to base my music on. As a lyrical artist it is essential to increasing fame and credibility. But this time, it has come to my attention that such a useful website has let its usefulness be extended to pedophiles. And now the damage is done to innocent young girls, their traumatised families are suing MySpace. I do not entirely disagree with chatting and making friends on the net. After all, most teenagers go online just to chat, or play online games to make new friends. Such friends could help you in times on need online, however there is still the need to be wary of them. Who knows who could be sitting on the other side of the computer, a 70 old pervert, or a young lady in her 20s?
Sexually abusing girls via the internet is definitely wrong. But to empathise with the victims of such abuse, we do not know the future. Meeting with these so-called 'friends' would be taking a risk, if you trust the person enough, I would not object to meeting, but even so, be on your guard. Many of us want more companionship, it is a natural need. Thus we turn to the internet, all the pedophiles out there, they need company too. Though they're definition of 'company' may not be acceptable to most. Such people should undergo counselling to make it back to the right track of life. And for MySpace.com? The parents should not sue such companies. They merely provide such a service for networking. What should be the correct solution would be to either sue the pedophile, or closely monitor their children. As a teenager, I understand that most of us at my age range are extremely rebellious, we want freedom. And that can be understood. Besides MySpace.com, there are many other ways for pedophiles to make friends with young girls and boys like the "IRC", chatrooms, other websites, messengers etc. What would sueing MySpace solve? Does it solve the problem of pedophiles? Well, the answer is a definite NO. The attack should be aimed at the ones who sexually assaulted the girls, not the tool used.
In summary, you can go online to make friends, but always stay wary, stay alert and be on your guard.

Sexual Harrassment

It was after school, really peculiar. Then there was this lady who popped out who looked like Mrs. Ho Wai Lin..then she asked me whether she took a photo lol.

I was like.."what photo?"
She replied,"the photo you took just now."
What Photo!
I was checking out huiwen's no. not takin' pictures.. anyway, who would want to take a photo of her..-.-

Then she said, "Alright, I give you the benefit of the doubt."
Stephen was there, Jerome was there, Eng Han was there..WTF with what photo!!!
argh, then she left. -.-

Then we still dun understand what was going on. Then Eng Han finally figured out..maybe she thought we took a picture of her for purposes that invade privacy lol. OMFG. All of us were laughing lor, we're like..who would want to take a picture of someone who looks like Mrs. Ho!!!!

No offense to Mrs. Ho, she ain't that ugly, but someone who looks like that is certainly not my type..argh. lol.
